Julia Umarova

Julia Umarova received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory and holds two Master’s degrees from the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory and San Diego State University.

Her musical career includes teaching at the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory (Russia) and the Harbin Conservatory of Music (China). She has won the Grand Prix at the Glazunov International Competition in Paris as well as other competitions, performed at various festivals across Europe, and has worked as an orchestra artist with the Saint Petersburg Academic Philharmonia of D. D. Shostakovich.

With a strong foundation from the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, Julia has performed solo concerts in different countries including France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Malta, Georgia, Israel, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Croatia, Poland, the United States, China, Portugal and others. These international experiences have shaped her artistic voice and deepened her passion for both performance and music education.
